My primary blog on the home page is my personal journal, pulpit, and soapbox. I’ll be using it to record major events in my life, things I’m thinking about, reviews of things I’ve seen heard or read, and more.
I can’t promise that it’ll always be interesting, but it’ll always be me.

All throughout my life I’ve been one of those “Jack of all trades, Master of none” types, and I’ll tell you that gets tiresome. It has not escaped me that a significant reason for this is that I simply don’t put the time and focus into any one endeavor, and so all suffer. This site is, in part, an attempt to address a few of them by giving me a constant and ordered place to present what I do. The hope is that by maintaining this site regularly, I’ll improve and focus despite myself.
You’ll find pages on this site dedicated to art, writing, and photography, the three areas I’m trying to focus on. Broad categories, sure, but it’s not any specific technique I’m looking to improve, it’s my whole approach and attitude towards the endeavors themselves.
So come and watch in rapt amazement as I hone my skills and become a successful writer and artist. Or watch in horror and disgust as I waste huge swaths of time in impossible pursuit.
Either way, I appreciate the company.
